Exodus is the third work in Scarabeus’s trilogy created in collaboration with young people. The production, which will tour outdoors from summer 2018, looks at the effects of separation and liminality on young refugees.
Scarabeus is working with Migrant Action UK (www.migranthelpuk.org) to reach young people in towns with significant populations of new refugee arrivals, and will creatively explore concepts of home, journey and ritual through drama and aerial theatre.
Exodus will be a provocative, immersive outdoor touring performance illustrating the challenges faced by refugees, and exploring the position of young migrants in our society with haunting and poetic imagery.
