Ruth Davey is the Development Manager at the Almeida Theatre in Islington managing the theatre’s corporate partnerships. Prior to this role she worked as a lone fundraiser at creative writing charity Ministry of Stories, attracting funding from trusts, companies and individual donors as well as through events. Before starting work in the arts she had a successful career organising trade exhibitions in a variety of sectors but returned to university to gain an MA in Arts Management in 2012 and transferred those skills into arts fundraising.
