Flying Families

FlyingFamilies2017
Flying Families is a FREE programme  of artistic, creative and physical workshops for parents and their children. A great way of bonding deeply with your child and building and self-confidence while learning fun new skills in a safe, supportive and non-judgmental environment.

Through yoga for families, aerial cocoon skills and outdoor exploration this is a great opportunity for parents and children to spend quality time together and meeting other local families with children of a similar age.

Supported by the Big Lottery Community Fund over the course of two years, each 8-week programme includes:
    • aerial skills using cocoons
    • yoga for parents and children
    • fun theatrical games

It's really nice to see the children puff out with pride, because they're helping their parents and their carers. It's been amazing to watch. Terry Haslam, Deputy Team Manager, Families First
